Pets and Service Animals
Please be aware that pets are not allowed at the Pacific Northwest Fiber Exposition. We understand how hard it is to leave our furry friends behind, however this rule is imposed for the health, safety and comfort of our community and will be strictly enforced. Do no plan to leave your animal in your car during the festival, even for a short period of time. Cars can be a lethal even on a fall day.
Qualified and bona fide service animals are welcome at the Exposition. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted. It is a crime to misrepresent a pet as a service animal. Those who bring any animal other than a service animal will not be allowed admittance.
The ADA defines a service animal as any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. If they meet this definition, animals are considered service animals under the ADA regardless of whether they have been licensed or certified by a state or local government.
Food and Drink
We ask that food and drinks be consumed outside the marketplace to prevent spills and mishaps with the vendors artworks. Water bottles and closed containers are allowed in the Marketplace.
Smoking
Vendors and customers should be mindful of the Washington State smoking law “RCW 70.160.075 – Smoking prohibited within twenty-five feet of public places or places of employment”. Complete content of this Washington State law is located at http://apps.leg.wa.go/RCW/default.aspx?cite=70.160.075 .
