Beginner Shuttle Tatting

I love exploring new crafts and several years ago I was introduced to shuttle tatting by my sister who decided I should learn it while she and I went Glamping in my RV. She got paint by numbers for her. It was rather daunting but with perseverance I've managed to love it. The possibilities are endless. The little butterfly you'll be making can be attached to a sweater, a sewing machine, a flower pot or a neck tie, stitch markers for knitters and since I'm a quilter I'm making a lace edging as a flange on a quilt. By giving quilts away in my community I have been blessed with many heart felt thank you's and to be able to give a little butterfly to a child or a grieving person makes my heart happy. I'm looking forward to seeing the joy on your faces when you complete your first butterfly.
