ForestBloom Fiberworks
 Elizabeth Heatherington, Owner
www.etsy.com

The foundational technique I employ in creating my fabric-wrapped cord pieces is based on an age-old invention of quilters as a way to utilize leftover fabric scraps. However, I’ve taken this basic technique down my own creative “rabbit holes” as I experiment with a variety of forms, complex interplay of convex and concave shaping, and a myriad of fabric types which lend textural and colorful contrast in both subtle and not-so-subtle ways. I often describe my work as fabric pottery and I've really just begun exploring the endless possibilities in fabric types and shaping techniques. The making of each piece is a joyful process for me and one I love to share.

Knitter Mama
Stacy M.Tucker, Owner
www.etsy.com
Knitter Mama is a black-woman owned business that caters to fiber crafters who share my snarky sense of humor and who enjoy accessories and notions that are snarky, sassy, and very sweary. If you are a yarn lover who likes their accessories and notions to be witty or funny but oftentimes sweary, this is the shop for you. I make yarn cozies, project bags, keychains, tote bags, mugs, notions bags and t-shirts, that will raise eyebrows and are definitely conversation starters. Your stitch 'n b!tch nights will not be the same when you show up with your "Holy Sh!t Balls" yarn cozy!
